Conventional strongly alkaline cleaners have carried risks such as metal corrosion and deterioration of resins and rubber. Because “VB1000” is composed only of water and minerals, it has been confirmed to be non-corrosive for various metals including cold-rolled steel (SPDD-B), cast iron (FC200), SUS405, and copper (C1100P) (based on test methods compliant with JIS K0100 and JIS K2234; all results were at or below pure water and required values). In addition, for major resin and rubber materials—such as PET, FRP, POM, PVC, PC, ABS, PP, PE, acrylic, plastics, modified polyethylene naphthalate, silicone rubber, and urethane rubber—the average mass change rate was +0.35% and no appearance changes were observed (based on the JIS K7114 test method). This enables safe cleaning of expensive precision parts and delicate materials, contributing to longer product life and stable quality.
